Description
This tension device, manufactured by Rollease, provides a child-safe tension mechanism for bead chain-operated roller shades. If the tension device isn’t mounted correctly, the roller, Roman, or woven wood shade won’t work properly. This makes it compliant with the ANSI/WCMA Child Safety Regulation A100.1-2022, effective June 1, 2024.
This device can be mounted directly to the wall or trim. It also comes with two optional-use mounting brackets for inside and outside mounts.
Chain stops, crimps, and connectors easily pass through this device.
Once the cover is snapped onto the base, they cannot be taken apart. Be sure to follow installation instructions.

This kit contains the tension device base and cover, along with two optional-use mounting brackets. One mounting bracket installs to the side of the window frame for inside-mount shades. The other bracket is for outside-mounted shades and mounts directly to the wall. The kit also includes mounting screws and printed instructions.
Durable plastic construction with a metal spring.
Available in clear, white, black and gray colors to coordinate with your décor.
